SVP of Client Delivery

EXECUTIVE BIO

Chuck Dominick is Senior Vice President of Client Delivery at Veilant, where he leads the team responsible for delivering high-impact technical solutions to the company’s customers. Chuck began his career in the U.S. Navy in 2003, serving eight years as an Aerographer’s Mate and providing meteorological and oceanographic forecasting in support of military operations. After his service, he joined the Intelligence Community, where he supported technical operations and served as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders.

Chuck joined Veilant in 2017 as an individual contributor embedded with a key client, supporting its technical operations. He advanced into program management and was later named to the company’s leadership team as SVP of Client Delivery. Over the past nine years, he has played an integral role in Veilant’s growth, helping the company evolve into a broader organization with a deeper bench of technical capabilities while adapting alongside customers as their budgets, priorities, and operational environments have shifted. Chuck holds a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Science and Mathematics from Thomas Edison State University.

How would you describe your role at Veilant?
My role is about making sure we understand our customers’ requirements and deliver the services and solutions that enable them to carry out their operations and missions. Our biggest focus is developing technology that meets not just today’s mission, but tomorrow’s, and doing it in a way that lets our customers operate effectively and manage their digital signatures successfully.

How would you describe your leadership style?
I approach leadership from a place of trust. Our employees come from a broad range of backgrounds, from former military and operational roles to technology, software development, and engineering, and they’re all experts in their fields. I trust that we’ve brought in the right teammates: people who bring the expertise, knowledge, and operational tradecraft our customers value, and who will keep our products at the cutting edge of tomorrow’s mission.

As a leader, it’s important to give our people the latitude to be creative and innovative, and to make sure they aren’t bogged down by process and administrivia. A lot of the time, I see myself as an enabler. I’m asking: What do you need? What aren’t you getting? How can I remove the blockers so you can succeed?

What is something new that you’ve learned recently?
Patience. I’ve got a teenager.

What is something happening at Veilant that you’re excited to see grow or develop?
When I first joined Veilant, walking in the door with a customer meant doing a lot of education. We had to help them understand the threat of Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance, why Digital Signature Management mattered, and how it affected their operations.

That’s changed. Today, customers come to us already understanding the threat and its impact on their mission. They’re seeking out the expertise and technology to mitigate it, and they see Veilant as a thought leader in that space. I’m excited to watch that continue to grow.

Can you tell us about a time when you were inspired or impressed by the work of another Veilanter?
I’ll keep this one general, but I’m consistently impressed by our team’s mission-first focus and their willingness to meet the mission where it is. They understand that the mission isn’t a nine-to-five operation. Our customers are conducting operations around the world and around the clock, and our team is committed to supporting them at that level: anytime, anyplace.

How would you describe Veilant’s culture?
Our culture is mission-first, but it’s also a culture of innovation. Everyone here has the opportunity to take something from an idea all the way to a finished deliverable, whether that’s bringing a unique perspective to a training module or developing the next technical solution we take to market.

What makes Veilant unique?
What makes us most unique is our deep understanding of our customers’ missions, which comes from our long history of supporting them in the field. A number of our people are working alongside our customers on operations today. That gives us invaluable, firsthand feedback that shapes our training, our technical support, and the technology we build to fill gaps in our customers’ operations.
